SummerWinds Stables is website dedicated to raising awareness of the plight of abused, injured, homeless and retired horses. We’re a group of horse lovers who have decided to dedicate some of our time to spread the word about the plight of horses. Our aim is to educate and deepen the natural bond between horses and humans.
Fortunately, throughout the USA, there are several equine rescue organizations dedicated to the rescue of abused, neglected and abandoned horses. Many of these organizations offer sanctuary for abused animals by providing medical care, rehabilitative services, and training to horses before placing them in loving and permanent homes.
We hope we can do our part to make the world a better place for horses by spreading the word about the plight of these beautiful creatures.
