Horse Stories

Candy's story is one that I was particularly touched by when I first learned about her last year while doing the original website update for Summerwinds Stables. By the time I first read about her I was happy to learn that she was already well into her recovery.

My husband and I planned to take an afternoon off to visit Candy and meet this remarkable horse in person. But fate had an even happier plan in store for Candy. By the time our project was completed Candy was adopted into a loving home with three other "pasture buddies" to pal around with for the rest of her days.

Much of the old website (that was new then) has now been replaced. But Candy's page, along with a few others will remain, as tribute to their special places in our hearts.
